Rental Agreement

1. Terms of Rental

By placing an order on our website, the Client agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Rental Agreement. These terms apply to all rental items provided by Seven Events (“the Business”) for the Client’s event (“the Event”).

2. Rental Period

Rental items are provided for the duration selected at checkout. Items must be returned by the agreed-upon return date and time. Late returns may incur additional rental or replacement fees.

3. Payment and Retainer

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure all rental orders. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the Event Date.
If payment is not received by the due date, the Business reserves the right to cancel the order without refund.

Accepted payment methods: credit card or visa debit.

4. Cancellations

  • The 50% retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Orders canceled more than 7 days prior to the Event Date will not owe the remaining balance.
  • Orders canceled within 7 days of the Event Date are subject to full payment.
  • In the unlikely event that Seven Events must cancel, all payments made will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery is available for an additional fee and must be arranged at checkout. Delivery includes drop-off to one location at ground level only.
Pickup orders must be collected and returned to the location provided by Seven Events during business hours.
Failure to return all items on time may result in additional fees or replacement charges.

6. Responsibility and Care

The Client acknowledges that all rental items are received in good condition and agrees to return them in the same condition, excluding ordinary wear and tear.

The Client is responsible for all items from the time of delivery or pickup until they are returned to Seven Events. This includes damage, loss, theft, or misuse.

If any item is missing or damaged, the Client agrees to pay the full replacement or repair cost as determined by the Business.

7. Protection from the Elements

Rental items are not weatherproof unless stated otherwise. The Client must ensure that all items are protected from rain, wind, snow, and other weather conditions. Items must be kept indoors or under full shelter when not in use.

8. Liability

Seven Events is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage that occurs during the use of rental items. The Client assumes all risk associated with the handling and use of rented equipment and decor.

9. Insurance

The Client is encouraged to obtain event insurance to cover potential loss or damage to rented items.

10. Modifications

Any changes to the rental order (quantities, delivery method, or items) must be made in writing at least 14 days before the Event Date and are subject to availability.

11. Force Majeure

The Business shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, pandemics, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and Seven Events regarding rental items and supersedes any prior written or verbal agreements.
